Good day and welcome to The Millennial Classic – Inspiring Godly womanhood in our generation.
Well, what is a Millennial? Oxford or some or other dictionary will probably tell you that it is a group of people born between the late 80s and 90s.
Now what I’ll tell you is that a millennial woman is one who has her finger on the pulse. She is Smart, she is wise, she is educated, well-spoken, strong and intelligent. She is getting her own, she is health conscious, up-skilling herself and upscaling her scope of knowledge, of influence and of excellence at every turn. She’s a woman on the rise, killing it at her career, she’s an expert in her field, side-hustling like a ninja in 6-inch heels and a sparkle in her eye. Heck, sometimes she does it in sweats and sneakers, her sleeves rolled up and eye-bags under her eyes. She just gets it done!
What is a classic? Well academics will probably tell you that it’s something that is judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind. Another would say it’s timeless
What qualities qualify something to merit the title of classic? To name a few…

Value
Impact
Permanence/Timelessness
Distinction
That is what this site is all about. If you consider yourself to be a woman of quality, Value, Impact, if you’re timeless, a woman of value and a woman of distinction. Then there’s no way you can tell me that you are not a woman of God, because that is the most Classic of all the values one can have. Don’t believe me? Go read Proverbs 31. A woman of God possesses all the above values. She personifies them, they radiate from her.
She is confident and finds divine purpose in her God appointed role as a nurturer. She is a kind, genuine, warm, strong, virtuous woman who is proud to be a queen, a wife, a mother. A woman who does not allow the world to tell her that the kitchen is for the oppressed. She delights in the opportunity to serve her family as best as she can with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Though she may be a boss in her own right, she has no qualms about submitting to the Lord and the man he has placed at the head of her home.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body – Eph 5:22-23. She is not ashamed of her God and He is not ashamed of her.
I believe a Millennial Classic to be a young woman whose identity is Classic, ergo rooted in God and yet she remains most relevant in today’s world without forgetting the King who lives inside her. The God of all Creation is her strength, through him, she seeks to thrive in every area of her life. These values will never lose relevance. They were true from the beginning of time and they are true today.
Today’s world needs that woman now more than ever before.
