First of all! Ya’ll need to stop with that!!! Stop it!!! J.U.S.T …. STOP!
In a world full of public opinion and often sheep-like following of any trend on social media and popular opinion. Women of God need to take a stand and go against the crowd. We need to take up our position. This world is full of anarchy and chaos. We can not stand by while the name of MAN is desecrated by those who don’t know better.
Men are Kings, men are Heads of the Home. Men are Ordained of God to lead and shape families!
Throughout that entire movement of Men Are Trash I saw women who have husbands, women who post about how good their husbands are to them, go on and on about how trashy men are. I’m talking about women who post the most adorable pics of their young prince’s, their sons, post about how trashy men are.
Everyone just started spreading darkness about the beings who God divinely appointed and created to Protect, Lead and Love us. The guardians of creation. The Workmanship of God. God’s very image. It made me cringe. It made me profess NOT MY MAN! NOT MY DAD! NOT MY BROTHER! AND MOST CERTAINLY NOT MY SON!
Now here’s the thing, I know that there are countless men who do the most heinous things one can imagine, those who abuse women and children for instance. This post is in no way negating the fact that there are absolutely “Trash” men out there. But we’re not here for that today in this post. We’re here to check ourselves as women of God, as women in some good men’s lives. We need to check how we speak and think concerning men.
I strongly believe in the power of the tongue, because you see the bible says
“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile” – Peter 3:10
So ask yourself, do you want a life that you will love? Do you want a life full of good days and good men? I know I do, and this verse makes it clear that we need to refrain from speaking ill of our men.
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” - Ephesians 4:29
So is your son hearing you bash men? Is your man hearing you bash men? What impact are you hoping to have on them by constantly putting down the male species to which they belong?
Why are you putting that negativity into the world? Why are you prophesying such in your life?
The power of the tongue is real! And if you want to manifest Trash Men into your life, you will. If you want to Manifest good men into your life you will. Speak life into your husband/boyfriend/fiance to his face, behind his back. Speak life into your son.
“Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.” – Proverbs 10:19
A good woman is one who knows when to speak and when to hold her tongue, she doesn’t just follow the popular thing that is cool right now to post on social media.
Remember the whole world was created with the power of Word. The Lord spoke and it came into existence. As women of God we need to watch what we say, because in the tongue lies the power of creation.
You pray over your boyfriend, you pray over that husband of yours you pray over your son pray for your Father in his old age, pray for your brothers. Honour them with your mouth and see what you manifest. They need to be strengthened in prayer. Pray for them to be calm and temperate, pray for them to honour God and respect women, pray for the spirit of anger and violence to not be found in them. This our place as women, to be sitting at the Lod’s feet calling upon the powers of heaven to move in our families. Not be spreading the devil’s propaganda on social media as we hear it.
I cannot end this post without pleading that any woman who is suffering violence at the hands of her partner or any man seek help, seek help of family, of friends and of the justice system. No woman deserves to suffer and die at the hands of a man.
I just loved when the many many good men in this country responded and stood up, starting their own movement and march saying #Not_In_MyName.
There is certainly enough darkness in this world without woman of God degrading manhood. Filter what you see and be wise in what you decide to perpetuate and spread into your universe. Remember, darkness does not cast out darkness. Only light can do that.
Prayer point: May we learn to speak life and goodness over the men in our lives, may we speak inspiring words to build them up and not tear them down. May we see them as God sees them and inspire goodness out of them.
